Accounts Payable Assistant

DescriptionAn opportunity to join a Travel Corporation, where the whole team work really closely together and is also tightly connected with the whole business even though they are a fully remote working company! .
The overall purpose of your job is to be responsible for the back-office finance administration of a selection of Travel Agents, BACS, CHAPS and SEPA bank transfers and account reconciliation.
As an Accounts payable assistant you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
* Talking to travel agents and building relationships with them via phone or email.
* Process Supplier Payments
* BACS, CHAPS and SEPA bank transfers
* Conduct general back-office administration duties
* Liaise with Travel Suppliers
* Adhoc Finance duties
Accounts payable assistant attributes:
* Travel experience within customer service will be considered if you are looking to redirect your career.
* Using MS Excel [intermediate level, knowledge of formulas]
* An excellent team player
* Well versed in member engagement
* A great communicator verbally and written
* Exceptional with attention to detail
* Able to work independently with a level of autonomy
