Bodyshop Workshop Controller
Description✓Bodyshop Workshop Controller required in Uxbridge, West London
✓£40k basic + bonus
✓We are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller for a reputable accident repair company in the Uxbridge, West London area.
✓The Job:
✓To inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained.
✓Forecast time scales.
✓Organise the bodyshop by controlling job start and finishing times and to be aware of the status of each job at all times, conducting daily progress meetings with bodyshop team members and reporting unexpected delays to the Site Manager
✓Ensure all the body shop tools and equipment are in good working order.
✓Control all waste materials.
✓Have overall responsibility for the security of the building and the equipment within it.
✓Ensure all job cards are completed correctly and be ultimately responsible for shop floor discipline.
✓To liaise with all bodyshop technicians and the Site Manager in respect of any quality issues.
✓Job Experience:
✓Experience working as a Bodyshop Controller, Workshop Manager or Quality Controller within an accident repair centre.
✓Knowledge of the automotive industry / Accident repair industry
✓Have advanced people management skills.
