You will like
The Production Welder itself where you will be working in the assembly department and be responsible for a variety of welding and brazing operations, and carry out welding required by maintenance and support the development process
More specifically:
To carry out brazing of low temperature silver and high temperature brass work to BS EN:12797:2000 standards including stud plates, trombone tubes and single end fitting pipes

To carry out welding of aluminum and stainless steel to AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 certification standards. 

Set and operate the spot welder, deburr, polish clean and carry out ball bearing tests on all welding and brazing work to required standards

To carry out Proof of Concept and other development welding activities as required

To carry out welding work in support of the maintenance team as required.

Undertake self-inspection and quality checks.

Carry out 5S duties and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure all relevant Health and Safety regulations are always adhered to including Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, SSW’s arising from RA’s/COSHH and Material Safety Data Sheets

To monitor the fitness for purpose of tools and equipment and provide for their replacement and/or recalibration so that tools and equipment are in good condition and suitable for purpose at all times and in order to avoid damage of goods, property and harm to oneself or other employees.

​You will have
To be successful as Production Welder you will have welding/brazing experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.  Plus, a healthy mix of the following:
Good standard of education GCSEs including English and Maths

Familiar with engineering hand tools

Basic understanding of measuring equipment

SAP experience desirable

High/Low Temp Brazing and TiG Welding
You will get
As Production Welder, you will enjoy a salary of £27.75K-£30K + OT [OT 1.5 x all extra hours, 2 x for hours done before 7AM, Sunday & BH] + Package.
