Stock Control Manager
Description✓Working for an excellent medical company you will be covering 2 hospital locations, Aintree Royal University Hospital and Liverpool University Hospital
✓You will have a stock controller at each site and be responsible for ensure both sites run smoothly
✓To be successful in this role you will need to have at lest 5 years supervisory experience within supply chain, experience in Cost Management and Performance Improvement
✓You will also need the ability to work to work successfully in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment
✓You will also cover other hospitals in the area
✓This is a hands on role for an experienced manager
✓Full DBS clearance will be applied for if successful.
✓Your role:
✓Daily supervision of staff located at assigned site locations
✓Perform annual staff performance reviews
✓Agree appropriate annual leave schedule ensuring unaffected service
✓Ensure department cover Mon - Fri, 08:30 - 16:30 or as agreed for specific operations
✓On-site client liaison to manage and resolve general queries
✓Review, agree and append Min\Max stock control with client managers
✓Deliver daily cycle counts, monitor expiring stock and stock variances
✓Perform annual stock checks/reconciliation as required
✓Manage quarantine of product, recalls, shelf life expiry, stock rotation, loss management, exchange and physical returns
✓Order non-stock products required by each service location
✓Manage automatic and manual orders on stock management system
✓Perform and monitor stock transfers e.g
✓cross-site/department, ad-hoc issues and sale or return items
✓Follow up and expedite orders with suppliers, including management of over/under deliveries, damages, expired stock, preventing stock-outs
✓Ensure all stock is available and located ready for use by clinical staff
✓The person:
✓5 years supervisory experience within an integrated service delivery supply chain, including consumables and material management
✓Experience in Cost Management, SRM, CRM and Performance Improvement
✓Proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment
✓Competency in MS Office Suite
✓Excellent communication skills
✓Desirable - CIPS qualified or working towards or CMI qualified or working towards
✓Desirable - Experience working in clinical and sterile environmentBenefits:
