Job Description:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding lessons and ensuring the progress and well-being of your students
You will engage and motivate pupils through creative and interactive teaching strategies, fostering a love for learning
As a Phase Leader, you will lead and support a team of teachers within the Key Stage 2 phase, providing guidance and facilitating collaboration to enhance teaching standards.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to the needs of individual students.
* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes independent thinking and supports academic, social, and emotional development.
* Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective intervention strategies where necessary.
* Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
* Lead the Key Stage 2 phase, including line management responsibilities, staff development, and strategic planning.
* Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, maintaining open lines of communication to support student achievement and well-being.
* Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching Key Stage 2.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent student outcomes.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of teachers.
* Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with educational developments
