✓We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team at a voluntary-aided comprehensive girls’ school in Islington
✓As a PE Teacher, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our students while being part of a supportive and inclusive environment.
✓PE Teacher Key Responsibilities:
✓Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons to students aged 11-16, focusing on their physical development and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
✓Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of the students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning experience for all.
✓Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that motivates students to participate and achieve their full potential.
✓Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities and events, providing students with opportunities to further develop their skills and interests outside of regular lessons.
✓Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their individual growth and development.
✓Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall improvement and development of the PE curriculum, sharing best practices and innovative teaching methods.PE Teacher Requirements:
✓Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
✓Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
✓A passion for promoting physical activity, health, and well-being among young people.
✓Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
✓An understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements for PE.Benefits:
