We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team at a voluntary-aided comprehensive girls’ school in Islington
As a PE Teacher, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our students while being part of a supportive and inclusive environment.
PE Teacher Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons to students aged 11-16, focusing on their physical development and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of the students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning experience for all.
Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that motivates students to participate and achieve their full potential.
Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities and events, providing students with opportunities to further develop their skills and interests outside of regular lessons.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their individual growth and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall improvement and development of the PE curriculum, sharing best practices and innovative teaching methods.PE Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status [QTS] or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
A passion for promoting physical activity, health, and well-being among young people.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
An understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements for PE.Benefits:
