SEND Teacher
Description✓An outstanding school in Liverpool are currently seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities [SEND] Teacher to start a position in September 2023 on a full-time basis, to teach Key Stage 4 [KS4]/Key Stage 5 [KS5], and lower ability groups
✓This is a long term position for the full academic year until July 2024.
✓We are looking for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities [SEND] Teachers who:
✓* Are outstanding classroom practitioners & have high expectations of children and their learning
✓* Have knowledge of effective strategies to raise attainment and progress & can work well as part of a team
✓* Creative and constantly looking for ways to engage and inspire children
✓* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
✓* Have good organisational and classroom management skills
✓* Willing to be flexible
✓The chosen candidate will be responsible for:
✓* Delivering engaging lessons
✓* Planning and effectively marking books
✓* Assessment of pupils
✓* Providing feedback to parents and building positive relationships with parents
✓* Direction of teaching assistants/learning support resource
✓* Classroom / Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures
✓Details of the role:
✓* Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status, have experience teaching, and will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure.
✓* Successful candidates will be subject to safeguarding and vetting checks.
