✓Job Summary: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational experience of our students
✓Working closely with teachers, you will help create a positive and engaging learning environment
✓Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of lesson materials, setting up and tidying classrooms, providing one-on-one or small group support to students, monitoring their progress, and reporting it to the appropriate staff members.
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓Collaborate with teachers to prepare and organise lesson materials, ensuring they are accessible and appropriate for student's needs.
✓Set up classrooms prior to lessons, ensuring a clean and conducive learning environment.
✓Assist teachers in managing student behaviour and promoting a positive classroom atmosphere.
✓Provide support to students during lessons, explaining concepts, and ensuring their understanding.
✓Offer one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
✓Observe and record student progress, including academic achievements and behavioural changes.
✓Report student progress and concerns to the relevant teachers and staff members.
✓Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students feel comfortable and supported.
✓Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and training as required.Qualifications and Experience:
✓Possess a valid DBS [Disclosure and Barring Service] certificate.
✓Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally for at least one year.
✓A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
