NDT Technician

DescriptionMy client are looking for an experienced, persistent, and highly motivated individual for this position, with a flexible working schedule and a 4 day week, with the choice to do overtime Friday- Sunday at a competitive rate
You must be a solution-orientated individual, with an ability to identify and quickly rectify issues.
Essentials:
* Understanding of the NDT regulations and Relevant standards Personnel Certification in Non-Destructive Testing [PCN] Level 2.
* Are working in NDT at the minute.
* High calibre, motivated individual, who wants to join an outstanding team and raise performance level even higher.
Responsibilities and experience:
* Ultra sonic testing of the cylinders before they leave the factory, and once they have been installed.
* Maintain equipment and calibration system.
* Evaluation / verdict and certification of test results.
* Writing and approving detailed NDT Procedures/techniques.
* Vetting and commenting on standards, specifications and enquiries.
* Audit operator compliance to procedures.
* Organise and administer NDT operator qualifications.
* Investigation of defects/problems - on and offsite.
* Providing specialist guidance to management/technical.
* Propose and develop techniques and systems
