✓This fast-paced and stretching role is situated within our Health & Disability function.
✓DWP supports over 2 million people with disabilities and health conditions who apply for health-related benefits, every year
✓We're transforming this service, putting claimants at the heart of it, to provide the best experience for users and ultimately, the taxpayer.
✓As an Interaction Designer you'll be helping design and deliver services that are simpler, faster and easier to use.
✓You'll be working alongside other user centred design professionals who are committed to deliver the best possible outcomes for all of our users, ensuring everything we design is accessible to everyone.

✓What skills and experience do you need to show us?
✓User focus: Use data from research and analytics to understand user's needs and test designs to meet them.
✓Evidence and context-based design: Work with others to design solutions that are based on evidence, and help identify gaps in knowledge.
✓Prototyping: Use a variety of prototyping tools and techniques.
✓Communication: Present your work and share design decisions, explaining ideas in a way that people understand and actively listen to other people's input.
✓Accessibility: Design with accessibility in mind, showing familiarity with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and designing to meet AA standards.
