Architectural Technologist / Technical Architect
Description✓We are currently working with a Chartered Architectural Practice located in Glasgow
✓They have recently begun they're search around the area for a well versed, representable Architectural Technologist/ Technical Architect to join their friendly team
✓Our client is keen to bring an enthusiastic, hardworking Technical candidate to assist, and challenge others in the office
✓Our client is a specialist in the Residential sector, covering a range of projects within the Residential sector, predominantly bespoke, domestic home conversions, extensions etc
✓Ideally, they're next recruit will have a background in this area allowing them to hit the ground running on their exciting workload
✓This great opportunity allows great exposure through RIBA stages due to working closely with Assistants, Architects, fellow Technologists and Directors.
✓We encourage candidates from varying levels as the right personality and sector experience is a priority, however, they're ideal candidate will have around 4/5 years' experience, predominantly working on bespoke Residential projects using AutoCAD and Sketchup.
✓Architectural Technologist / Technical Architect Position Overview
✓Working with AutoCAD and Sketchup on a daily basis
✓Producing technical designs and detailed construction drawings
✓Working on smaller scale, bespoke, Residential Projects
✓Closely working with colleagues
✓Communicating well with clients to produce drawings that match the brief
✓Architectural Technologist / Technical Architect Position Requirements
✓Holds Relevant qualification e.g
✓BA, MA, BSc, HND, HNC etc
✓Lives in or around Glasgow
✓Around 4/5 years' experience in the industry
✓Specialist within RIBA stages 3 to 4 as well as exposure to further stages
✓Proficient with AutoCAD and Sketchup
✓Experience with Revit is advantageous
✓Has a background working on Domestic projects
✓Working knowledge of technical building design, detailing and building regulations
✓Architectural Technologist / Technical Architect Position Remuneration
✓Salary Expectations [£30,000 - £40,000 DOE]
