Logistics Supervisor
Description✓We are looking for a permanent Logistics Supervisor in Acton for an immediate start in Acton.
✓Logistics Supervisor Responsibilities:
✓Provide relief cover for drivers in the event of absence or holidays, completing routes efficiently and effectively.
✓Monitor and ensure compliance with O licence, site, EU, and other legal requirements related to vehicles and drivers.
✓Analyze TMS2 data to identify areas for improvement in the working environment and implement corrective actions.
✓Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary measures on customer premises for major changes or new business.
✓Investigate and analyse logistics problems using systems such as FTA Vision, TMS2 data, Telematics, and Dynamics, and implement corrective actions.
✓Improve supply and distribution routes, quality of service, and customer satisfaction.
✓Monitor and control activities within the agreed functional budget, investigating and resolving any variances.
✓Conduct Health and Safety Training and driver assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
✓Contribute to reducing the environmental impact by promoting optimal efficiency and economy on routes.
✓Enforce compliance with site EN14065 standard, ensuring drivers disinfect vehicles daily.
✓Logistics Supervisor Details:
✓Salary: up to £38,000 per annum DOE
✓21 days annual leave
✓Shifts: Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 2.30pm & 8.30-5:00pm [two weeks rotating]
✓Logistics Supervisor Requirements:
✓Previous experience in logistics administration or a similar role.
✓Strong knowledge of vehicle and driver compliance regulations.
✓HGV [class C] driving licence
✓Previous experience in supervisory role will be advantageous.
