✓Working with primary and/or secondary SEMH students
✓Based in Harrow, close to public transport linksResponsibilities:
✓Provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs, both in and outside the classroom.
✓Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualized education plans [IEPs] and strategies for students with diverse needs.
✓Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the individual needs and abilities of students.
✓Assist in managing behavior and promoting positive social interactions among students.
✓Monitor and track student progress, documenting observations and sharing feedback with the teaching team.
✓Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the overall development and well-being of students.Requirements:
✓Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
✓Understanding of different special educational needs, such as SEMH, learning disabilities, or speech and language difficulties.
✓Patient, empathetic, and able to build rapport with students.
✓Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
✓Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields is an advantage, but not mandatory.
