Description✓Generator Engineer - Permanent, Full Time

✓Mon – Fri, Day Shift [Occasionally Expected On-Call]
✓We are looking for a Generator Engineer to join our client – A leading supplier in the UK.
✓This role will be depot based at their West London site, however occasionally you will be expected on-call and must be willing to attend various sites [company vehicle provided].
✓The successful candidate will service and repair a full range of power generation equipment and tools, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met and maintained.
✓Responsibilities
✓Carry out routine service and maintenance of hire equipment and products, including electrical testing where required
✓Refurbish equipment and products as necessary
✓Ensure all company property is looked after and in calibration date where appropriate; [Multi-meter, Clamp meter, RCD tester, Insulation resistance tester]
✓Liaise with Depot Manager to ensure cost-effective repairs with spare parts
✓Maintain and update service records onto in-house
✓Clean equipment to highest standard ready for hire
✓Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at work
✓Ensure workshop is safe, tidy and organised at all times
✓Requirements
✓· NVQ L3 or City and Guilds equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent in power generator engineering/similar industry experience.
✓• Product knowledge and experience of assessing and fault-finding on Power Generation equipment.
✓· Experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
✓· Experience working on power tools, diesel and 2/4-stroke petrol engines or diesel generators is advantageous.
✓· Full driving licence
✓· Willingness to travel to various sites and flexibility on daily working hours.
