Steel Installer Assistant / Fitters Mate
Description✓Fitters Mate / Steel Installer Assistant needed In London, nr Wembley
✓This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing steelwork fabrication business on a permanent PAYE basis
✓Competitive hourly rates on offer together with paid overtime available.
✓Projects undertaken are varied but include steel stairs, handrails, balconies as well as structural steel frames too.
✓Site locations are typically around London, and you will travel and work as part of a team under the direction of an experienced Steelwork Erector/Installer.
✓Fitters Mate / Steel Installer Assistant duties include:
✓• Reviewing installation packs/drawings and ensuring vans are loaded with required fixings etc.
✓• Travelling to site location as part of a team dependant on project requirements.
✓• Installing / erecting steelwork as per the drawings and as directed by the Site Manager/Supervisor.
✓Fitters Mate / Steel Installer Assistant requirements:
✓• Previous experience installing / erecting a range of structural and/or architectural metalwork is highly advantageous.
✓• CSCS card.
✓• Live in/within a reasonable commute of NW10 where you will meet at the offices before travelling to various site locations.
✓• Be reliable and be seeking a permanent PAYE position.
✓On offer for the Fitters Mate / Steel Installer Assistant:
✓• Good starting rate negotiable DOE [£13/£14 p/h + overtime paid at enhanced rates].
✓• Robust employer with a healthy order book.
✓• Working as part of a team on some interesting projects.
