Job Overview:
Our client is an establish gaming company
They are expanding their IT Operations team and are seeking applications from experienced IT Service Engineers to work within the Service/Support function.
Role:
Provide 1st/2nd Line Technical Support
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and request tickets, providing required updates
Follow the problem management process to prevent recurring incidents and disruption to the IT operation.
Contribute to the growth of Service Desk Knowledgebase
Provides a key role in configuring and rolling new hardware/software for new starts.
Ensure the IT Asset inventory within the Desk platform is maintained.
Continuous development and maintenance of system documentation in line with new configuration.
Being the initial point of escalation for the IT Service Technician.
Escalate IT issues, and work alongside the Infrastructure Team to resolve IT issues that fall outside the capabilities of the support/service desk.Requirements:
A related degree at Bachelors, Masters or PhD level
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Desktop and Server OS.
VMWare Virtualisation experience
