Description✓Our client specialises in manufacturing and sub-assembling softwood and sheet material components for divan and ottoman bed frames.
✓FLT must be an official license not an inhouse license
✓FLT Reach role:
✓* Manual handling work too [wrapping/strapping etc]
✓* Liaise with managers / co-ordinators on Forklift safety, maintenance & fuel.
✓* Ensure all external drive & pathways, holding areas etc are kept clean and are in good state of repair, reporting any maintenance matters immediately.
✓* Safe & proper use of all equipment, including hand bander, strapex & shrink wrap machine.
✓* Provide support to all departments through supply of components, pallets, removal of bins, skips etc.
✓* Supply components, finished/raw materials to production tables / stations as required
✓* Order picking
✓* Ensure safe and efficient material picking for vehicle loading / delivery to production lines.
✓* Spot check raw material quality on delivery, report any issues through the supply chain team
✓* Maintain stock integrity & accuracy including perpetual stock counts and audits.
✓* Ensure all stock is labelled correctly and labels are visible.
✓* Ensure any scanning / stock errors & invalid to Co-ordinators
✓* Wrapping, strapping & scanning of Work in Progress & Secondary Machine scheduling
✓Check all activity centres on the manufacturing tickets have been stamped and completed and process through the Winman scanner program.
✓* General knowledge of Winman i.e
✓inventory review and kit requirements
✓* Assist in controlling site waste streams.
✓* Assist order picker with supply of new stock as required.
✓* Ensure all outside areas are safe and kept clear at all times.
✓* Ensure over make of finished wood stocks are stored correctly and located on Winman.
✓* Ensure all stock movements are recorded on Winman.
✓* Efficiently unload all deliveries as required, and ensure correct labelling and locating on Winman.
