✓We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Ocean Freight Forwarder
✓As a key player in our logistics operations, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of ocean freight shipments

✓Responsibilities
✓Manage end-to-end ocean freight operations, including booking, documentation, and tracking of shipments
✓Liaise with customers, carriers, and agents to ensure smooth communication and timely execution of shipments
✓Prepare and review shipping documents, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
✓Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance and ensure adherence to import/export requirements
✓Coordinate with warehouse teams to arrange for efficient loading and unloading of cargo
✓Monitor shipment schedules, transit times, and delivery milestones to meet customer expectations
✓Resolve any issues or delays related to shipments, such as port congestion, vessel rerouting, or customs holds
✓Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipment details, including tracking numbers, container numbers, and relevant documentation
✓Continuously improve processes and seek cost-effective solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
✓Requirements
✓Previous experience as an Ocean Freight Forwarder or similar role in the logistics industry
✓In-depth knowledge of ocean freight operations, including documentation, regulations, and carrier procedures
✓Strong understanding of international trade, customs requirements, and import/export regulations
✓Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
✓Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders
✓Proficiency in using logistics software and systems related to ocean freight operations
✓Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
✓Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
