Coded Welder Fabricator
Description✓Welder/ Fabricator
✓Location: Bradford
✓Hours: 4 day working week [Mon-Fri]
✓Salary: £15- £17ph
✓12-week Temp-Perm; Permanent after 12-week completion.
✓Metalis are currently working with a prestigious engineering company who are world leaders of heat exchange solutions within commercial and industrial sectors
✓We are looking for candidates who are good team players, with impressive skill sets and an aim to learn and grown within a business.
✓Duties & Responsibilities:
✓Welding to a coded level, proficient in MIG and TIG welding - Coded preferred but not essential as training in this field can be provided
✓Inspection/approval of joint preparation and set up.
✓Welding conformity with allocated WPS or WPQR's for each task.
✓Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
✓Working with carbon and stainless steels [316, 304, Duplex] from various thicknesses, ranging -from 2.0mm - 20mm+
✓The successful candidate will:
✓Coded Welder highly desired
✓Experience in manufacturing pressure vessels is preferred but not essential.
✓Experience in a range of different thickness welds from 3mm up to 15 mm and beyond.
✓The ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols
✓Qualifications:
✓Apprentice trained/welding qualifications - Essential
✓Existing Code qualifications [if applicable]
✓Experience of welding pressure vessels and/or shell and tube heat exchangers [desired but not essential].
✓Up-to-date welding certificates
