HVAC Design Engineer
Description✓Overview:
✓A well established, West Yorkshire based Manufacturer is now looking to recruit a HVAC Design Engineer
✓The new recruit will join their special projects and contracts team and will use their technical ability to create varied designs designs that will include ventilation, ductwork and extraction layouts
✓Clients would include Hotel & Restaurant Groups, Highstreet Chains and Public Sector organisations in Education and Healthcare.
✓The Role:
✓Working in a predominately office-based role, the HVAC Design Engineer will oversee specialist projects all the way through from initial design, through manufacturing and transfer of information to the installation teams.
✓Duties will include:
✓* The interpretation of customer specifications and creating CAD drawings.
✓* Being involved with design calculations and selection of equipment.
✓* Design of ductwork, ventilation and extraction layouts.
✓* Assisting with sales on client meetings when and where required.
✓* Providing effective technical information, advice and support.
✓The Person:
✓We are seeking a creative, passionate and career focused individual who will have:
✓* Experience in the designing of extraction systems, ventilation and ductwork.
✓* A Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma qualifications in a mechanical or engineering related subject.
