• sent cheques for bigger amounts, requesting the money to be sent back
• This is an overpayment scam - stay away for him!

Call 020 3286 4158: voicemail redicting you to a premium number

• The ad is appealling and seems normal at first: THOMPSON 42inch lcd, great condition, 27months old...
• People are asked to ring a normal number: 020 3286 4158
• The voicemail then instruct people to call 09830 930 040
• Please note, 09 numbers are the most expensive type of phone number and calls can cost anything from 10p to £1.50 a minute from a BT landline. For other providers, costs will vary depending on the number being called and the call duration.
• Watch out for premium numbers

• Be warned of lengthy email and poor grammar
• Be warned of sellers asking you to pay for travel costs for puppies rom Cameroon!
