Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot & Spring Break Car Show on 12th May 2024 Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot – Flash flooding ruined last weekend but 100% open this Sunday & we have the Spring Break Car Show on at the same time so a big crowd expected & great weather. All Covered stalls are reserved for this Sunday text 07817539168 to reserve for any other Sunday/Bank Holiday Monday otherwise just turn up on the day and sell from £6. Our next Bank Holiday is May 26th/27th where we are open Sunday & Monday - text to pre book a covered stall for all Sundays/BH Mondays. So just turn up and sell from £6 no booking needed, Covered stalls are available to reserve for any Sunday/Bank Holiday Monday by texting 07817539168 and we now have no restrictions for anyone selling plants at the Car Boot. Hoping to see lots more plant growers & anyone with any gardening items. Covered stalls are available for any Sunday plus Bank Holidays [next is May 27th], text 07817539168 to reserve one - Guaranteed on the main field close to food and toilets and only £12. Everyone else can just turn up on the day. Plus starting this Year we will begin the Stonham Barns Thursday Car Boot which will begin once the weather has improved. I expect this will be at the start of July 2024. We’ll need lots of support to make sure this is a permanent fixture so please let everyone know. Events run at the same time as the Car Boot so a bigger crowd always expected. The first is Spring Break Car Show on 12th May 2024 followed the Steam & Vintage Show on 19th May 2024 followed by Vauxfest on 23rd June 2024 and Shinka [East Coast Japanese Car Show] on 8th July We are the best priced & still the friendliest Car Boot in Suffolk so come & sell from only £6 and it’s still free parking & buying & everyone welcome to just turn up and have a look around as there’s so much to do at Stonham. I've had a few questions about when we actually start. We always used to start at 8am and most people do still turn up at 8/8.30 but, we do get people arriving stupidly early onwards. So, it's really up to you. 7 onwards is sensible. We have enough space for everyone. Prices have remained the same with selling at £6 for cars. Cars with trailers £8.50, Small Vans £8.50 and large vans £12, Vans with Trailers are also £12. There is NO NEED TO BOOK. Covered Stalls are available for every Sunday/Bank Holiday Monday but these do go very quickly as there are only 20. These ONLY can be pre-booked on 07817539168 [text to pre-book]. These offer some shade to sellers as well as a tabletop & protection against wind & rain. These are on the main field and you pull in behind them, set up and sell and pack up and leave at the end of the day. They also guarantee a main field position near to toilets and Drinks/Food. Everyone else wishing to sell at Stonham can just turn up on the day. We are still the cheapest in Suffolk so you can just turn up from 7am and sell and that’s every Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays from March to October & now Thursdays too [soon]. We are also lucky to benefit from regular events at Stonham where the Car Boot crowd is often doubled & that’s on top of a very big buying crowd. Everyone loves Stonham as its unbeatable when the weather is good. It has a great atmosphere and a knowledgeable friendly crowd made up of all ages. Families young and old, dog friendly and it caters for the disabled. Again, a big thanks to the majority who follow our strict no harassment policy which is why Stonham Barns Car Boot is always such a friendly place to sell and buy at. We let Buyers in at the same time as sellers but – please allow me to get everyone into position so please don’t hinder this and please don’t stand behind cars whilst they unload. No one is going to jump in and buy before you as it just isn’t that kind of car boot. The reason we have become so popular is because we don’t have people harassing sellers. If anyone oversteps their mark we will stop buyers entering the field until gone 7am. We are outdoors only but offer covered stalls. We will always try to open every week irrespective of the weather as we still get buyers and sellers. Yes indeed! We should give our Salsa praises that Uksalsafeet has secured one of the Top Venues, for your pleasure to dance salsa and other various popular Latin dances at, The Court House, with Uksalsafeet Thank God It’s Friday Salsa Party’ which means to bring you the very best of Salsa and other various Latin dance such as Kizomba, Bachata, and cha cha cha!! This is one of the reasons why more people can’t wait for the second Friday of each month a night filled with lots of dancing, laughing, fun and frivolity at an exclusive venue with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. The Court House boasts an excellent dance floor Air condition rooms, fully stock bar and easy free parking and access. On the night expect special guest teachers each month, free Bottles of Wines and an abundance of dancers of all levels. The only other thing needed to make the party swing in the Main Room is DJ Paul & Peter on the decks playing all the best Latin tunes around! Ghost hunt - Ryton Masonic Hall [Gateshead] 06/05/2023

9pm - 2am Saturday 06/05/2023 A large manor house dating back to the 1860’s. It’s been home to a railway engineer, a wealthy solicitor and a vicar before being used for Masonic rituals. Throughout the many rooms a female voice has been heard along with strange dragging sounds, whispering, tapping, and whistling. Chairs have been seen moving on their own and doors slamming. Ghost hunt - Northern Hope Centre [Gateshead]

9pm - 2am Friday 16/06/2023 Part of a secret World War One munitions factory used to make shells and cartridge cases. Cold breezes can be felt here and people say stones have been thrown at them. There have been multiple ghostly sightings of what are believed to be former factory workers. These include figures that walk through the building and sometimes through walls. Also a portly, nasty looking man has been seen and a tall shadowy figure that seems to watch people.
