✓Ruth Beddow is a London-based poet originally from the West Midlands
✓She believes everyone can write and is passionate about making the community more inclusive and accessible
✓Shortlisted for, amongst others, the Poetry Business New Poet’s Prize and Plough Prize, Ruth delivers workshops at cultural institutions across London, including Morocco Bound Bookshop
✓Her debut pamphlet ‘The Thought Sits With Me’ is published by Nine Pens.

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. Acrobatics - G12 Performing Arts - One of the UKs Top Training Centers

Acrobatics is a unique dance style which develops great flexibility and strength to achieve balances, lifts, bends and splits. It also incorporates elements of jazz, ballet and gymnastics. Acrobatics is an energetic and fun form of exercise for boys and girls of all ages. Tricks, kicks, splits... 'Acro' combines dance moves and acrobatic movements known as tricks. The tricks become progressively more difficult and complex as the dancers develop their flexibility, strength... and bravery! Vocal Classes - G12 Performing Arts- One of the UK's Top Training Centre's

At G12 Performing Arts we offer professional performance training for all ages. As well as developing confidence and the ability to work as part of a team, students studying drama have the opportunity to develop skills and understanding in creative problem solving, communication, self discipline, tolerance and empathy. Drama allows children to be active learners, engage and experience a vast range of ideas and situations in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Drama can give children an outlet for emotions, thoughts and dreams that they might not otherwise have a means to express. We hold practical classes that develop a range of communicative and interactive skills, as well as self awareness and self discipline. We work with the children on improvisation, acting for Film & Television, on-screen acting skills, audition and acting technique, working from a TV/film Script, acting for commercials, differences between TV/Film and stage acting, acting naturally in front of the camera and what to expect on a TV/film set. Tap Classes - G12 Performing Arts - One of the UKs Top Training Centers

Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Two major variations on tap dance exist: rhythm [jazz] tap and Broadway tap. Broadway tap focuses on dance; it is widely performed in musical theater. Rhythm tap focuses on musicality, and practitioners consider themselves to be a part of the jazz tradition. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap" on the heel and toe. There are different brands of shoes which sometimes differ in the way they sound we recommend Bloch. Our teacher is an X champion competitive tapper and our students are now representing their country in this genre and competing all over the world in tap as well as each year passing their ISTD examinations with top marks. For ££-Participants Needed [Online]

We are looking for participants to take part in our electroencephalogram [EEG] study from all over the UK. The study is done at your home. We will send you the EEG headset and we will meet by MS Teams. We will show you how to used the headset for the EEG recording. EEG [electroencephalogram] is a small portable device which can be placed on your forehead and measures which areas of the brain are active. EEG is a safe procedure and causes no discomfort. There would also be some pen and paper tasks, which are more like games. In order to take part, we would like to check if you are: · Aged 24 years or older · Healthy participants · That you do not have a family member with bipolar disorder You would be reimbursed £20 in vouchers for your time.
