Description✓Elizabeth II genuine 1964 retired official red pillar post box
✓We have the original key with genuine brass Chubb lock which is apparently 1963 [the previous owner was an ex-postie and has a huge collection - we have proof of purchase].
✓The chute is in working order, and inside has only been cleaned and otherwise left untouched
✓You can still see the stencilling inside showing CAA1964.
✓The outside has been lightly restored by the previous owner using traditional pillar box red, and overall it’s in fantastic condition for its age
✓We’ve had it just over 2 years as an ornament for our driveway
✓Should only go up in value - poorer quality ones are being sold online for over £5,000
✓Buyer collects - very heavy!! We will arrange careful removal from the ground, but don’t have the means to transport it for you so please come prepared to move a heavy item into your vehicle
✓The post box is around 6ft high and probably weighs around a tonne
