Up for sale is my like new [really] 2020 Specialized S-Works SL-6 Tarmac custom build - size 56cm. We've built dozens of carbon road bikes. This beauty is an absolute Creme de la Creme S-Works Tarmac - more special, we think, than any pro's Tarmac that we've seen. We started with a 2020 S-Works SL6 56cm rim brake frame. This was the last rim brake S-Works Tarmac frames produced by Specialized as most of the 2020 Tarmac's were produced with disc brakes. The UCI cycling world governing body had not fully approved disc brakes for international competition. Thus, many sponsored racers used this frame in competitions like the Tour de France in 2019 and 2020. We have another SL-6 training rig with rim brakes and we prefer it by a mile to my other bikes with disc brakes - way better modulation, no pesky brake shoe drag and noise, and zero hassles associated with set-up and maintaining the hydraulic brake system. This rig was manufactured with direct mount brakes [most advanced rim brake technology by far] with rare Shimano Dura-Ace direct mount calipers.
