Payroll and HR Administrator
Description✓Morgan McKinley is looking for a Payroll and HR Assistant who wants to work for a charitable organisation based in the Portsmouth area
✓We are looking for someone who is looking for a supportive employer and keen to have a broad range of duties
✓This role is a blended role for Payroll and HR where you will be supporting the head office function with finance, payroll and HR affairs
✓This is a permanent role, offered with 28 days annual leave + Bank holidays, private healthcare, life assurance and flexible working and more.
✓Reporting to the Finance Director you will be tasked with the following:
✓Process changes to the payroll based on information supplied by managers at HO and other sites.
✓Amendments to monthly payroll such as overtime, absences etc
✓Liaise with and be first point for managers with pay adjustments and queries
✓Ensure payroll is accurately maintained ready to submit year end returns
✓Setting up new starters, leavers, etc on the system
✓Query resolution and first point of contact for any employee queries
✓Pension administration -auto enrollment
✓Keep updated with changing HR legislation and be the first point of contact with HR queries
✓Liaise with the FD and external HR consultancy for any complex issues
✓Preparation of employee contracts for staff and ensure templates are held ad up to date
✓Issuing of accurate job offer letters ready for review for new starters
✓Assist the team with year-end payroll processing, reports and reconciliations
✓willingness to support the wider business with adhoc tasks and to be a collaborative team member.What you will need:
✓Experience in job roles such as; Payroll Administrator/ HR administration/ Payroll Assistant/ HR assistant.
✓Previous HR or Payroll admin experience is highly advantageous but not essential
✓Strong administrator with the ability to work in a an accurate manner and deadlines.
✓Knowledge of Sage Payroll or similar is advantageousWhat you will get:
