✓MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
✓To carry out all aspects of Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Ventilation and Air Handling Plant engineering repair, maintenance and installation at various Client sites nationwide.
✓CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
✓Ensure all work is carried out to a high degree of quality, is technically correct and is in line with all company, client, manufacturer and industry regulations, compliance requirements and good working practices.
✓Build and create good working relationships with clients, colleagues and peers and maintain a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times with ‘site ownership’ mentality and responsibility.
✓Complete ‘first time fix’ wherever possible.
✓Ensure all work is carried out in line with the company ‘Health & Safety Policy’
✓Any instances of poor or unsafe working should be reported to the Line Manager.
✓To effectively liaise with clients ensuring that customers are communicated with in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
✓Ensure that the company image is professionally portrayed by ensuring corporate uniform is worn at all times and is well presented
✓ID badges are displayed and company vehicles are clean.
✓To be contactable by mobile phone at all times, if phone engaged / out of signal or unsafe to speak then the phone should have message service enabled
✓To respond to messages as soon as able to ensure constant communication is maintained.
✓Be available to work outside of normal working hours in accordance with working requirements and as part of an on-call rota.
✓Be willing to lodge away overnight on occasion where required.
✓To organise site operations ensuring that the works are undertaken in a safe, efficient and tidy manner.
✓Fully complete and submit work reports, quote forms and time sheets commensurate with the task requirement, works undertaken and upon completion of each job.
✓Correctly complete client specific site paperwork in accordance with company requirements and return to the office for processing in a timely manner.
✓Complete all e-learning courses in accordance with company Human Focus training.
✓Complete all mandatory vehicle, ladder and PPE checks in accordance with company policy.
✓To keep up to date with technical changes, techniques and developments within the industry.
✓Be aware of and adhere to company / industry standards with respect servicing, maintenance, repairs and installation works.
✓To monitor the quality of installation work whilst undertaking commissioning and advise / report if the company’s standards are not being maintained.
✓To assist in the development & training of apprentice / junior engineers as and when required.
