Description✓A HLTA, or ambitious experienced TA seeking HLTA Status, is sought to work with EAL students, primarily from Year Seven upwards, including SEN students at KS4.
✓The schools teachers are inspiring and creative, transforming the futures of intelligent pupils with literacy and language-related additional challenges, by empowering them.
✓The SEN/English department comprises six classrooms in the centre of the campus, with additional
✓This is a community school that serves a richly diverse area of East London, with many ethnic groups and languages represented
✓We have good facilities, including sports facilities, and opportunities to teach across the full age range.
✓The role requires:
✓• A highly organised individual that can assess the progress of EAL students using
✓recommended guidelines.
✓• An individual who has experience of teaching EAL students individually and in small
✓groups.
✓• The ability to teach small groups of EAL and SEN students at KS4, for example,
✓delivering the ASDAN life skills course, or Option Support.
✓• The ability to develop and prepare resources.
