Executive Assistant
Description✓We have an exciting new opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join an Educational establishment in Manchester.
✓Job role:
✓You will be responsible for providing high quality professional administrative support to the CBC Director to ensure maximum office efficiency
✓You will be responsible for managing the Director's busy diary and communications.
✓You will be proactive in anticipating the everchanging demands of the role and become a CBC ambassador to maintain and enhance our international reputation.
✓DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
✓Manage and take full responsibility of the Director's complex and busy diary, scheduling commitments to maximise the Director's time efficiently.
✓* To schedule, coordinate and provide a full administrative service for all the Director's commitments and meetings as necessary.
✓* Be aware of, and responsive to, the changing demands of the CBC Director and adopt a flexible and proactive approach to work.
✓* Receive the Directors' email and post, handling any enquiries within the role's capacity promptly and effectively
✓Check deadlines on incoming requests and put preliminary work in play
✓Process replies on own initiative or from dictation/notes.
✓* Deal with all administration around the Director's attendance to meetings and conferences, from acceptance of invites through to preparing itineraries to the Directors' specifications and any post meeting expenses.
✓About you:
✓You should have experience of working in an administrative, secretarial or Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant role, along with experience of working with senior members of management within a large complex organisation.
✓Experience of working within an academic, clinical or scientific environment is desirable.
✓You will be educated to degree level [or have the equivalent relevant experience] and will have excellent IT skills, especially proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages.
✓Key qualities should include independent thinking, ability to work flexibly and as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills, all of which are needed to efficiently work in a busy and varied role
