The role
Vision for Education are currently recruiting for SEND Teaching Assistant's to work within SEND Schools in the Gateshead Local Authority
You will be working with and supporting students aged 4-18 with a diagnosis of Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties
This role will lead to a permanenet job after wokring 12 weeks through the agency. 
An ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience of working with children, young people and adults who have Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and/or Severe Learning Difficulties.
Experience of dealing with unpredictable and challenging behaviors.
A Flexible approach to working.
A friendly, positive and understanding attitude towards children an young people with complex needs.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
