✓As a member of our Technical Service Team, you will be the face of the company.
✓This is an exciting hybrid role for those that like variety to their working week
✓It will be split between visiting customer sites across the UK, working in the Derby office providing telephone support and working in production.
✓As the primary part of this role will be field based with some nights away in hotels, a sense of adventure, flexible approach to working hours, and the ability to show high levels of self-organisation is a must
✓Your time will be split between -
✓* Onsite installation of PC, EPOS and Broadband into retail locations
✓* Installation of Data cabling, Wireless access points and basic CCTV systems
✓* Service Calls for our restaurant and charity retail customers
✓* Training users on how to use their new EPOS system
✓* In-house production of EPOS, Routers, and related technology, including hardware repairs

✓To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
✓* Experience working as an IT support technician or similar role OR experience repairing and installing IT equipment.
✓* PC/EPOS skills are essential with the aspiration to learn more.
✓* Be able to demonstrate a practical and logical approach to problem-solving both over the phone using your minds-eye and using your hands whilst attending a customer site.
✓* Excellent Customer Service skills.
✓* The candidate must like and have a willingness for regular travel across the UK.
✓* Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
✓In this role you will have access to a pool of business use vans kept at the Derby office, so ideally you will want to be within a commutable distance from Deby city centre.
✓Normal working hours are 9 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday [37.5 hours per week].
