The Role
As Web Developer you would be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting bespoke web development solutions including public-facing websites, content management platforms, extranets and databases.
You will be tasked with…
- Designing, coding, testing complex websites from agreed specifications to achieve a well-engineered result
- Pay attention to the impact of change on performance, accessibility and SEO
- Translating object and data models into appropriate database schemas within design constraints
- Identifying and resolving issues with web applications, following agreed procedures
- Adherence to developer standards and best practices, using application lifecycle tools, including source control software, continuous integration and deployment platforms

The Candidate
The Web Developer role will suit a dynamic programmer with a.Net development background, excellent knowledge of the Visual Studio IDE, as well as coding and debugging techniques
You must be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of web development technologies and techniques and will enjoy working as part of a team to deliver applications and services in an agile and/or waterfall methodology.
In addition, it's essential that you possess the following:
- Experience of developing on the Sitecore content management platform
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript/jQuery and CSS
- A proactive, can-do attitude, passionate about delivering high quality products that are robust, secure and scalable, and sharing your knowledge with others
