✓Location: Northfleet Mill, Kent
✓Pay Rate: £10.70 per hour [£20,865 annual equivalent]
✓Full Time: 12-month contract, flexible shifts 6am - 2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am - 4pm, 10am - 6pm
✓Our client is looking to recruit Laboratory Technicians for their site in Northfleet, Kent
✓The role involves testing consumer products, and there is room for growth within the role and the opportunity to learn how to use new equipment.
✓The candidate does not have to have any pre-existing lab experience or be a graduate, and the role would suit someone a reliable person from a background such as retail or manufacturing
✓You will receive full training and support to ensure an enjoyable and productive experience.
✓Immediate start & weekly pay!
✓Responsibilities
✓Must always work safely, complying with the safety policy and maintaining a safe working environment by applying housekeeping standards
✓Must adhere to the appropriate Standard Test Methods or procedures
✓Responsible for conducting timely and accurate physical testing of consumer products as requested
✓Responsible for conducting regular equipment verifications and calibrations in line with identified schedules
✓Responsible for maintaining recordsRequirements
✓Have good attention to detail and ability to thoroughly cross check self and others.
✓Have a structured and organised approach to document and record management.
✓Be able to work well within a small team as well as independently.
✓Have effective communication skills.
✓Be flexible to support changing business needs and priorities.
✓Be able to use Microsoft Office, SharePoint & any specific systems/databases as required.
✓Be willing to travel to other locations to support trials if requested.
✓Have 5 GCSEs grades A-C [inc
✓Maths & English] or at least one year's experience in a similar role
