✓We have a great opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our fantastic Generalist HR Team.
✓This is a key position with a lot of variety – you will be expected to provide a professional HR service that supports HRP to attract, retain, develop and engage the high-calibre staff and volunteers required to achieve HRP’s Cause and strategic priorities.
✓You will support the HR management team in providing guidance and advice on employee relations issues across the organisation, such as performance management, sickness absence and other HR policies, as well as managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns, supporting selection methods and designing and delivering workshops for line managers and staff.
✓You will also be expected to work with the other HR Advisors in supporting and guiding our team of HR Assistants in delivering an efficient and timely service to our ‘customers’.
✓Reporting into an HR Manager, day-to-day tasks will involve managing attendance management processes, advising managers on recruitment and performance management matters, producing and analysing reports and statistical data to help inform future strategy, supporting with line manager workshops, as well as contributing to the HR strategic workplan in areas such as Health and Wellbeing, our Volunteer Programme and Diversity and Inclusion.
✓In order to succeed in these areas, you will need to build relationships with key customers, Trade Unions and partners so strong interpersonal skills and teamwork will be essential.

✓You will be an experienced and organised HR professional, with good knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations case work
✓You will demonstrate an appetite to learn on the job and have confidence in your ability as you will quickly be expected to support managers with investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings; creating reports and analysing /evaluating statistical information
✓What’s more, you will be tactful, approachable and articulate, with the ability to network, influence and present
✓IT-literate and preferably CIPD qualified, you will be someone who takes pride in a job well done, remains calm in a crisis and shows professionalism in all you do.
✓You will also need to be flexible and willing to travel to other palaces on occasion as required
