Business Development Manager

DescriptionReporting to the Business Development Director, to identify and exploit the opportunities to grow the business.
To drive quality sales, acting in a professional manner in keeping with both regulatory and company policies and procedures.
The Role
* To seek engagement with decision-makers, identifying them via telephone, website information and social media
* Assist the Business Development Director with, and/or self-manage in various tender preparations, editing and submitting tenders for appropriate services
* Achieve and exceed target monthly fees generated from work placements both from new and existing clients
* Liaise with the Business Development Director and the Heads of Business Performance in identifying new business opportunities
* Build rapport with existing clients so that advantages can be exploited as part of the process of winning new business clients in that sector
The Candidate
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience within business development and account management ideally within Financial Services or Insurance
* To present as an outgoing, confident, articulate, literate, creative, presentable, likeable, energetic and very determined and ambitious individual
* To understand the unique challenges faced in developing client relationships both existing and new and the determination and energy to overcome them
* Effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* To be highly organised with a sharp attention to detail and able to track and evidence progress with leads clearly
