AAT Accountant
Description✓As an assistant accountant your role encompasses the following key responsibilities and accountabilities:
✓Core Purpose:
✓Provide support to the Management Accountant in managing the financial and business functions of the organisation.
✓Administer all aspects of finance
✓Financial Management:
✓Calculate accounting adjustments such as accruals and prepayments.
✓Prepare ad-hoc reports to facilitate decision-making processes.
✓Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of financial transactions in compliance with relevant financial management guidelines.
✓Financial Procedures and Policy:
✓Support internal and external audit processes as required.
✓Establish a robust income collection process, ensuring timely receipt and accurate recording of funds.
✓Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliations and other accounting system tasks.
✓Input accounting data into the system with speed and accuracy.
✓Contribute to the production of financial statements, spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence as necessary.
✓Plan, organise, and manage workload to ensure timely and accurate contribution to financial reporting processes.
✓Resolve finance-related queries.
✓Assist with end-of-year preparation and procedures.
✓Provide support to the Management Accountant in fulfilling their responsibilities, including additional tasks that may arise.
✓This role is open to candidates who have relevant experience in either practice or industry.
