AAT Accountant
Description✓Aster & Trujillo is now on its final round of recruitment for an AAT Accountant, an individual who is seeking an opportunity to continue gaining practical accountancy work.
✓A friendly small sized Tax & Accountancy practice, based in the City of London, is expanding and looking to take on a final candidate to join this growing firm
✓Offering UK & Spanish accounts, taxation, and business advisory and support services to a wide range of businesses including self-assessments under double taxation mainly for foreign assets, inheritance and capital gains tax from Spain
✓The firm has grown over the last 5 years, currently looking to double in size in the coming years

✓CANDIDATE:
✓* 2 Years experience minimum working in an accountancy practice
✓1 year experience will be taken into account for specific candidates that can demonstrate practice aptitude
✓* System skills: Excel [general office 365-excel is a must], Accounts Production, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax [main softwares: Taxcal, Quickbooks, Moneysoft]
✓* Good technical accounting knowledge
✓* The ability to work under pressure is essential
✓* The ability to work under no supervision on certain tasks is essential
✓* Organisational skills to administrate and organised own work to ensure that it is accurate and meets reasonable deadlines
✓* Ability to draft correctly
✓* Language of Spanish is a bonus if applicable [not mandatory]
✓THE ROLE
✓Job: Payroll, VAT and other accounting and finance tasks
✓Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
✓* Bookkeeping and Payroll
✓* Preparation and submission of CIS tax returns and payments to HMRC
✓* Assisting with VAT preparation and submissions, including Flat Rate.
✓* Processing and coding of purchase invoices
✓* Bank reconciliations
✓* Assisting with accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
✓Produce to strict deadlines submissions and reports as required
✓* Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner
✓* Office Administration and other ad-hoc duties as and when require
✓* Proactive with good ideas and willing to get involved with the business
✓* High energy, and hard working
✓The perfect candidate would have excellent levels of literacy and accuracy along with a positive attitude toward learning.
✓THE OFFER:
✓The interview will be conducted via teams and face to face [technical assessment will be given to the candidate].
✓Job Type: Full-time
✓Salary: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
✓Medical insurance package on top of salary
✓Study support after 12 months will also be discussed
✓Schedule:
✓* Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
✓* London: Hybrid role will be consider after 8-12 months of employment
