AAT Qualified Accounts Specialist

✓We are looking for a accounts assistant or a candidate with a finance background to help clients utilise their new accounting software.
✓As an Accounts Specialist, you will be responsible for liaising and working with customers over several months in order for them to get the best out of the accounts software
✓You will look after 10 – 15 business’s at any one time and answer and questions they have relating to the system
✓Queries often include running VAT returns within their accounts, completing month end procedures, assisting with stock journals and bank reconciliation
✓You will do this by responding via email, on the phone, through video calls and sometimes in person.
✓Key Responsibilities
✓* To liaise with customers and help convert customers from their existing accounts system to our accounts software.
✓* To help customers with questions relating to the accounts software.
✓* Work with Project Managers to set deadlines and manage the timeline of overall new system projects.
✓* To assist in pre-sales discussions when needed with our Sales team to ensure customers are given the correct information about our accounts software prior to sale.
✓* Participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support other colleagues in their development and training.
✓* Occasionally participate in ‘Go Lives’ at customer premises to achieve a better understanding of how specific businesses work.
✓Knowledge & Skills
✓* AAT level qualification/ accounts degree is desirable.
✓* Well organised and enjoy client facing interaction.
✓* Be motivated and client focused.
✓* A team player with ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team.
✓* Excellent IT, communication, and prioritisation skills.
✓* Approachable with a willingness to help others.
✓* Ability to present information in a friendly yet professional manner.
