Accountant
Description✓Calling all Accountants
✓If you enjoy variety, have an eye for detail, and can prioritise work through busy projects, this is for you.
✓You will be working as part of a busy and fast-paced project team assisting with the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, whilst aiding in the creation and maintenance of a robust project governance and control environment.
✓Your role:
✓* Prepare and present financial results and forecasts
✓* Ensure forecasts are robust and updated with monthly actuals
✓* Report on Risks and Opportunities
✓* Report on project revenue, ensuring key contract milestones are achieved and invoiced
✓* Support cash flow reporting and forecast requirements
✓* Support month end reporting, including sales and project balance sheet reconciliations
✓* Ensure compliance with group accounting activities
✓* Support bidding process for new projects
✓Your background:
✓* Previous Accounting experience is essential, project accounting or long-term contract accounting is desirable
✓* Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable
✓* Experience of budgeting and forecasting is essential
✓* You will be able to meet fixed deadlines
✓* Preferably qualified [AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or similar] but experience is key
✓* Good command of Excel
