Accounts Assistant

DescriptionP+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Reconciling supplier accounts/ statements ready for payment.
* Reconciling the company credit card accounts.
* Reconciling bank statements.
* Processing BACS payment runs.
* Ensuring supplier accounts are settled within the company’s terms and conditions.
* Dealing with supplier queries.
* Posting of foreign currency transactions.
* Processing intergroup transactions.
* Data input to JDE accounting software.
* Processing of employee expense claims.
* Assist with the analyse and report on key financial data within the organisation ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.
* Assist with the production timely and reliable management information reports on a monthly basis.
* Assist with the preparation of month end for Accounts Payable, VAT, Fixed Assets, intercompany and general ledger in the finance system.
* Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns for HMRC and any other statutory bodies.
Person Specification:
* Ideally, somebody AAT qualified or QBE
* Enthusiastic and able to use own initiative.
Working Hours:
* Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
* 1 hour lunch
