Accounts Assistant

DescriptionElevation Accountancy & Finance are very excited to be working in partnership with a successful and growing business as they look to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team
Key responsibilities:
* Processing invoices and payments
* Maintain the accounts payable ledger
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Weekly and monthly review of invoices
* Daily posting of sales invoicing and credit notes
* Weekly reconciliation of daily figures
* Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
* Ensure reports are accurate and meet deadlines at all times
* Download and post monthly journal
* Post monthly Accruals and Prepayments as required
* Monthly Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
* Any other duties, as demanded by the job role and as requested by your line manager as and when required
Requirements:
* Ideally at least one year of experience in an accounting team
* Strong advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
