✓I am partnering with a leading manufacturing company which is part of a wider group of businesses globally
✓They are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their established and fast-paced team.
✓As an integral member of our finance team, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately managing our accounts payable process
✓The successful candidate will ensure that all invoices are processed, payments are made on time, and vendor accounts are reconciled effectively
✓This role requires excellent numerical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓Receive, review, and process invoices promptly and accurately.
✓Verify the accuracy of invoice details, including quantities, prices, and terms.
✓Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
✓Prepare payment batches and ensure timely payment processing.
✓Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment-related queries and discrepancies.
✓Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
✓Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
✓Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
✓Liaise with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals and resolve invoice-related issues.
✓Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and external stakeholders.
✓Provide support and assistance to colleagues within the finance department on an ad hoc basis.
✓Successful Candidate:
✓Strong previous experience of working in accounts payable.
✓Proficient in using accounting software.
✓Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
✓Strong organisational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
✓Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
✓Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
✓Prior experience in a manufacturing or similar industry is advantageous.
✓A relevant finance or accounting qualification is desirable but not essential.
