✓-Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
✓-Verify invoice amounts, terms, and payment details for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
✓-Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper authorization and receipt of goods or services.
✓-Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers, in accordance with established payment terms.
✓-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and account reconciliations.
✓-Maintain vendor files, including accurate and up-to-date information.
✓-Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status, invoice discrepancies, and other accounts payable matters.
✓-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues related to vendor invoices or payments.
✓-Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
✓Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk
✓-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
✓-Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
✓-Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
