✓Role: Accounts Senior
✓Salary: Up to £32,000 depending on experience
✓Location: Sheffield
✓Job Purpose:
✓To provide accounts & audit support to a busy Accountancy Practice.
✓Duties:
✓* Preparation of company financial statements
✓* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
✓* Preparation of interim management accounts
✓* Preparation of personal tax returns
✓* Preparation of partnership accounts and returns
✓* Forecasts and business projections – not essential
✓* Able to manager own portfolio of clients
✓* Train junior members of staff and allocate duties
✓* Attend client meetings and interact with directors and business owners
✓* Any other general accountancy/administrative work as required
✓* Bookkeeping
✓The Successful Candidate
✓Skills and Experience:
✓You must have at least 4 years working in an accountancy practice environment.
✓Experience of Sage 50, Xero, Quickbooks, Iris, Sage Business Cloud an advantage
✓Strong Attention to Detail
✓Excellent Time Management Skills
✓Exceptional Communication Skills with a good telephone manner
✓Good written and technical Skills
✓Strong Prioritisation and Organisation Skills
✓Ability to Handle Confidential Information
✓Strong Record Keeping Skills
✓Willing to put in extra paid hours as and when required
✓Qualifications:
✓Must be at least studying towards or have studied one of the following AAT/ACA/ACCA.
