Assistant Accountant 12 Months FTC
Description✓Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a QBE Assistant Accountant to join one of our clients, a successful professional services business based in Leeds City Centre, who require someone to join them to support the team due to maternity leave.
✓They are looking for someone who has strong, all-round finance experience who has gained exposure to the month end process which will enable them to hit the ground running.
✓The business is located close to Leeds Train Station, in open-plan, modern new offices!
✓The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
✓-Supporting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
✓-VAT returns
✓-Balance sheet reconciliations
✓-Financial reporting
✓-Analyse and authorise payment runs
✓-Query resolution relating to the audit process
