Assistant Accountant 12 Months FTC

DescriptionSewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a QBE Assistant Accountant to join one of our clients, a successful professional services business based in Leeds City Centre, who require someone to join them to support the team due to maternity leave.
They are looking for someone who has strong, all-round finance experience who has gained exposure to the month end process which will enable them to hit the ground running.
The business is located close to Leeds Train Station, in open-plan, modern new offices!
The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
-Supporting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
-VAT returns
-Balance sheet reconciliations
-Financial reporting
-Analyse and authorise payment runs
-Query resolution relating to the audit process
