Assistant Accountant

✓Job Description: As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting my clients finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and providing financial analysis
✓You will work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
✓Responsibilities of an Assistant Accountant:
✓Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
✓Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
✓Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
✓Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, analysing variances, and providing recommendations for cost-saving measures.
✓Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
✓Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
✓Support the annual audit process and liaise with auditors as required.
✓Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
✓Provide support in other areas of the finance department as needed.Requirements:
✓2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
✓Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
✓Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
✓Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
✓Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
✓Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
