Description✓Assistant Management Accountant | Leeds | £30,000 - £35,000 + Study Support
✓I am currently partnering with a Global Firm who are looking to bring on an ambitiious Assistant Management Accountant into the centre of excellence in Leeds!
✓As an Assistant Management Accountant your role will involve analysing and recording the reporting needs of the Planning Manager - assisting in the development of reporting metrics and KPIs, delivering high-quality reports, and ensuring data accuracy.
✓You'll collaborate with stakeholders, monitor industry trends, support data testing, and analyse vendor performance
✓Your skills in stakeholder management, process improvement, problem-solving, and Excel will be crucial, along with experience in financial systems like SAP or Oracle.
✓Day to Day;
✓Assisting in the production of monthly management reports
✓Analysing and testing data to deliver quality reports and escalating issues as needed.
✓Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand and fulfil ad-hoc data needs and special projects.
✓Providing effective customer service by analysing trends, aligning customer goals with business objectives, and communicating with internal stakeholders.
✓Monitoring industry trends and best practices to participate in the implementation of reporting tools.
✓Supporting data testing and becoming a subject matter expert on new tools for specialised data projects.
✓Assisting in the gathering and analysis of vendor performance and financial information to identify trends and areas for improvement.
✓Successful Candidate;
✓Comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
✓Ability to review and propose improvements to existing processes and develop new processes.
✓Highly motivated with the ability to work well in a team or independently, involving others appropriately.
✓Methodical approach to problem-solving and evaluating complex data.
✓Understanding customer needs and actively seeking ways to meet them.
✓Strong Excel skills.
✓Experience working with ledgers and financial systems, such as Oracle, to extract data.
