Billing Analyst
Description✓Billing Analyst – Permanent Contract to start ASAP.
✓Hours of Work: 37.5hrs per week Mon – Fri – 9.00am – 5.30pm
✓Location: Borehamwood, Essex [Training @ HQ in Basingstoke / Wolverhampton]
✓Salary: £28,000pa - £32,000pa [D.O.E]
✓Working for an exciting new client who’s seeking Billing Analyst to lead a scale-up across their business; you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the billing process for our commercial clients.
✓This position requires a highly motivated candidate with solid analytic skills and an attention to detail to aid in the development of overall customer satisfaction. A bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance or accounting, or a related field is typically suitable for this position.
✓The role will develop over time so we would like you to be flexible, a good team player and possess excellent communication skills
✓Experience with data analytics and reporting, data visualization is essential.
✓Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
✓Acquire a thorough understanding of the electricity lifecycles from contract initiation to fulfilment and final account processing.
✓ Identify issues using reporting methods to maintain compliance with internal & external SLAs around transaction and billing accuracies and timeliness.
✓Assist with root-cause analysis to identify solutions to exceptions, errors, and process gaps.
✓Resolve issues in a timely manner or escalate as appropriate.
✓Ensure actual meter readings are obtained from the customers on time before billing run.
✓Dealing with metering agent & Distribution Network Operator as when needed.
✓Create and roll out a performance management and appraisal process which supports the organisation’s culture, values and performance objectives.
✓ Ability to work under pressure and manage all the commercial bills and payments are up to date by working closely with credit control team.
✓Person Spec:
✓To perform these tasks, as a Billing Analyst must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
✓You should also have knowledge of accounting principles and experience using billing and invoicing software.
