Bookkeeper
Description✓Tate has an opportunity for an efficient, qualified Bookkeeper to take on a standalone position with a manufacturing business in the CB22 area of Cambridgeshire.
✓This permanent vacancy presents a chance for you to work closely with the MD by having full responsibility for the transactional day to day accounting, cash flow, payroll [for 24] and reporting.
✓The business source and import their key component from South America with the end line premium product manufactured and distributed around the UK and exported worldwide from Cambridgeshire, sold B2B to national retailers and directly B2C through their user friendly, attractive website and online platforms
✓They trade in GBP, EUR and USD.
✓It is assumed that this permanent appointment will create an opportunity to you to grow with the business in the future so if you are looking for a long term job you can settle into, this could be perfect.
✓We are looking for an organised, self-motivated bookkeeper with a professional accounting qualification, or with a well-established career in a similar role who, qualified by experience.
✓Ideally, having worked for a manufacturing business trading in foreign currency, you will have experience using SAP and strong Excel skills along with experience of processing payroll.
✓Standard hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30 pm, and preferably in the office full time, however hybrid flexibility could be considered.

✓Bank Reconciliation
✓Credit Control
✓Inhouse Payroll and Pension processing
✓VAT processing and reconciliation
✓Year-end process to liaise with the Company Accountants.
✓Expenses processing and payments
✓Credit card
✓Foreign Currency
✓Cashflow
