Branch Manager
Description✓Our client is a customer focussed, financial services provider seeking a Branch Manager to lead their flagship branch located in the heart of Loughborough
✓This role is about providing excellent customer service, working closely with other Branch Managers and Savings Managers to support the organisations aims and improve their efficiencies and processes
✓Leading a team of 4, you will ensure they respond promptly to customer enquiries, motivate and develop the team to achieve objectives and conduct effective performance reviews to identify training needs.
✓The branch transactions are more focussed towards Savings and there can be further opportunities to get involved in projects/savings related duties.
✓Due to the nature of the role, full office/branch presence is necessary
✓The operational hours of the branch are Monday – Friday; 9.30 am – 4.00 pm and then 9 – 12pm two Saturdays a month [with time off in lieu].
✓Key responsibilities will include:
✓* To provide effective leadership, technical support and expertise to the branch team
✓Undertake any other duties or special projects within the responsibility of the job role as required.
✓* Take ownership of complaints at first point of contact wherever possible and provide timely communications to members in line with procedure.
✓* To effectively resource plan, manage attendance, annual leave and work with other Branch Managers to ensure you meet the needs of our members both visiting face to face and calling us.
✓* To develop and maintain the customer base within the local area of the branch to achieve objectives, attractive and retain savings balances through regular observations, 121’s and discussions with your team.
✓The successful individual will possess:
✓* Previous financial services experience
✓* Leadership experience
